David is a lovely man who has been at Eden for the last two weeks, and I had a long chat with him this afternoon. He is very interesting and challenged a lot of the prejudices I want to be rid of. As always, the conclusion is clear that it is always better to speak to people than judge them from their writings.
I came across this a while back, and have been recently pondering the question, ‘Is it right for Christians to read Science Fiction?’ Just what is about so much of that is horrifying? Does that matter, when it is as superbly well-written as this example? Possible blog post to follow.
